Introduction Hosting Web Premium
There Are lots of hosting providers out there to choose from, but it is tough to find one with a longer history than that of Rose Hosting. RoseHosting is an US-based hosting firm located in St. Louis Missouri. Launched in 2001, it was the first hosting company to provide Linux servers. The company asserts that RoseHosting.com was the first and only web hosting company in the world to offer commercial Linux virtual servers back in 2001 (underneath Rose Web Services LLC) and encourages its customers to check the fact on Archive.org. RoseHosting also runs its own data centre. Hosting Web Premium
Notably, Rose Hosting is a Linux-only hosting company Specialized in VPS hosting (although the company also offers both dedicated and shared hosting plans today ). In addition, this hosting provider has a strict no overselling policy — a practice which people don’t see often in budget / shared hosting market. Some of its more notable customers include the Altarum Institute, UPF.org, and Voice IP Solutions.

– Fast and Reliable Hosting
As a whole, Rose Hosting is a really good web host maintaining impressive uptime and site speeds; its general uptime record is 99.99% while the highest site response time was 300 ms — nothing to scoff at. In contrast to other web hosts I have tracked, the website response time is very notable. The average response time of the other standard WordPress dormant blogs vary from 1,500 to 2,000 ms — compared, Rose Hosting is not shy of 5 times as quickly!
Additionally, Though I have not tested the support system, I’ve heard nothing but great things about the customer support and after sales support for a whole. Again, impressive — particularly considering that folks are, generally, considerably more inclined to split the bad than the good.
– Slight cost difference after initial term
Unlike some Other hosting companies, RoseHosting doesn’t jack up their hosting costs after first term. Take SSD Business such as: signup rate = 9.95/mo, renewal speed = 10.75/mo on annual billing. The distinction is minimum and fair.
– Complimentary site migrations for first time clients
Why stress it When you can let the experts do all of the heavy lifting work? All new users get free site migration support whenever they change to Rose Hosting.
– RV Site Builder Pro
All RoseHosting Shared hosting plans are bundled with RV Website Builder Guru. This is a huge time saver for layman and non-technical person. You can simply build a simple site without the need of web development experience or programming skills. Hosting Web Premium
– Expect better shared hosting features
At the price of $10.35/mo (Faculties average price ), I would expect to get more in my web host.
RoseHosting SSD Business plan allows just five domain names and 20 databases. Dedicated Server IP addresses, Cloud Flare CDN (a $10 is charged for setup fees), daily copy attributes, etc are available for users who are eager to pay extra.
– Server location at United States only
RoseHosting runs Its data center in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and doesn’t offer other options in term of server location. There could be latency issue if bulk of your site users are based outside usa.
RoseHosting — User Overview
RoseHosting has Been around for more than a decade. But to my surprise there are so few user testimonials available online. The internet host isn’t even featured on most of the popular hosting review sites.
Overview of user inspection: I discovered RoseHosting Through a combo of Google searches and after having a few hours of study I thought I would offer them a shot although I have no expertise with CentOS or Linux. I used their service for about four months and during this period experienced zero issues. As Linux was new to me I also submitted half a dozen help desk tickets and spoke with their live chat service many times. Each time I talked with someone they were both knowledgeable and useful, help desk tickets have been generally answered within two weeks.
As Far as the system goes, I setup and needed three 32-man Team Fortress two servers running on the host combined with three sites. I had a few Steam buddies jump on the servers a few occasions and each of them ran fine for example boatloads of all addons, sub 100ms ping occasions. Here’s the GameTracker link to one of the servers as further proof. I’m not sure how’d they perform under complete stress but with about 20 concurrent users I observed no change. They also conducted multiple Counter-Strike servers nicely.
Initial setup took approximately 18 Hours but I ordered at approximately 3AM on Christmas eve. I emailed to get a refund over the weekend and received it today. I actually feel bad for going back and asking for a refund as they assisted me quite a bit. Overall I was quite pleased with their support and would recommend them to anybody out there looking for an inexpensive Linux-Based VPS from a trusted company. Hosting Web Premium
Services and Specializations
The Backbone of RoseHosting is the Linux VPS bundles, that are completely managed and offer at least two CPU cores, SSD storage, 1 IP address, free migration, and full weekly backups. They provide 8 pre-designed bundles, from their beginner VPS with only the essential RAMstorage, and bandwidth to their high-end plans with unmetered bandwidth and enough RAM and SSD storage to run pretty much any web project. To get a more personalized plan, you may also make your own custom made server that has any specs you want.
They Also provide 5 shared hosting programs. All shared plans include your choice of cPanel or DirectAdmin control panels, SSD, free weekly copies, Softaculous 1-click installments, and RVSiteBuilder Guru. Plans vary depending on the number of domains you can capture, storage space, bandwidth, and email accounts, subdomains, and databases you’ll be able to install. Their higher-lever programs also have a dedicated IP address and anti FTP support.
They Offer 8 Linux dedicated server packages, all which comprise XEON chips, 1 IP address, along with DirectAdmin CP. Plans differ based on processor type, RAM, bandwidth, and storage space. Most plans attribute RAID5 storage; high end programs comprise SSD drives. Custom-built servers will also be available upon request.
RoseHosting’s Datacenter is situated less than 100 miles in the US population center, in St. Louis, Missouri. It has redundant heating system and fire extinguishing systems, connectivity to all of the world’s leading backbones, and numerous 10 GigE, Gigabit, and OC-3 connections with a brand new Gigabit internal network.
Support and Customer Support
RoseHosting Support is available 24 hours each day, 7 days per week. Most emails and support tickets have been responded to within 5 minutes.
RoseHosting Includes a no-overselling policy, meaning they won’t ever try to sell you extra storage, bandwidth, or other resources which you don’t really need for your site.
Weekly Backups are provided for all shared and VPS programs. Each copy overwrites the last, so it is a good idea to prepare your own automated backups also, if a problem goes undetected for more than a week. Dedicated servers don’t include automatic backups.
RoseHosting Offers a 100% uptime guarantee.
Billing and Payment Policies
RoseHosting Accepts all major credit cards. All plans renew automatically on the first day of a billing cycle, either for a single month or one year. Accounts over 7 days delinquent will likely be suspended, and accounts over 30 days delinquent will be forever terminated. Suspended accounts may be charged a reconnect fee upon reinstatement. Cancelations must be made through the control panel ahead of the beginning another billing cycle.
As The planet’s first Linux hosting provider, they have proven their ability to innovate and provide a trusted support. They provide more than sufficient pre-built bundles to meet most customer’s needs. If that’s not enough, they also offer custom packages for their VPS and dedicated programs, which means you can certainly get the specifications you’re looking for. Hosting Web Premium
