There Are loads of hosting providers out there to choose from, but it’s hard to find one with a longer history than that of Rose Hosting. RoseHosting is a US-based hosting company located in St. Louis Missouri. Founded in 2001, it had been the first hosting company to offer Linux virtual servers. The company asserts that RoseHosting.com has been the first and only web hosting company in the world to provide commercial Linux virtual servers back in 2001 (beneath Rose Web Services LLC) and supports its clients to verify the truth on Archive.org. RoseHosting also conducts its own data center. Ihosting
Notably, Rose Hosting is a Linux-only hosting company Specialized in VPS hosting (although the provider also offers both dedicated and shared hosting plans now). Furthermore, this hosting supplier has a strict no overselling coverage — a practice that we do not see frequently in budget / shared hosting marketplace. Some of its more notable clients include the Altarum Institute, UPF.org, and Voice IP Solutions.

– Fast and Reliable Hosting
As a whole, Rose Hosting is a really great web host claiming impressive uptime and site speeds; its overall uptime record is 99.99% while the maximum website response time was 300 ms — nothing to scoff at. In comparison to other internet hosts I have monitored, the site response time is quite notable. The typical response time of my other basic WordPress inactive websites vary from 1,500 to 2,000 ms — in contrast, Rose Hosting is not shy of five times as fast!
Additionally, Though I have not analyzed the service system, I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about the customer support and after sales support as a whole. Again, remarkable — particularly considering that people are, generally, much more inclined to share the bad than the good.
– Slight cost difference after first semester
Unlike some Other hosting companies, RoseHosting doesn’t jack up their hosting prices after first term. Take SSD Business such as: rate = $9.95/mo, renewal speed = $10.75/mo on yearly billing. The difference is minimum and reasonable.
– Free site migrations for First-time customers
Why stress it When you can let the experts do all of the heavy lifting work? All new customers receive totally free website migration support whenever they switch to Rose Hosting.
– RV Website Builder Pro
All RoseHosting Shared hosting plans have been bundled with RV Site Builder Professional. This is a huge time saver for both layman and non-technical individual. It’s possible to just construct a simple site without needing internet development experience or programming abilities. Ihosting
– Expect better shared hosting characteristics
At the cost of $10.35/mo (Faculties average cost), I’d expect to get more out of my web host.
RoseHosting SSD Business plan allows only five domains and 20 databases. Dedicated IP addresses, Cloud Flare CDN (a $10 is charged for installation fees), daily backup features, etc are available for customers who are ready to pay additional.
– Server location at United States only
RoseHosting runs Its data center in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and doesn’t provide other options in term of server location. There may be latency problem if majority of your site users are located outside usa.
RoseHosting — User Overview
RoseHosting has Been around for more than a couple of years. But to my surprise there are so few user reviews available online. The internet host is not even featured on the majority of the popular hosting review websites.
Summary of user inspection: I found RoseHosting Through a combination of Google searches after doing a few hours of study I thought I would give them a shot even though I have no expertise with CentOS or Linux. I used their service for approximately four months and during this period experienced no problems. As Linux was brand new to me I submitted half a dozen help desk tickets also spoke to their live chat service several times. Every time that I talked with somebody they were equally knowledgeable and helpful, help desk tickets were typically answered within 2 hours.
As Far as the system goes, I setup and needed three 32-man Team Fortress two servers running on the host along with three sites. I had some Steam friends hop on the servers several occasions and each of them ran fine for example boatloads of addons, sub 100ms ping times. Here’s the GameTracker link to one of the servers as further proof. I am not sure how’d they perform under full stress but with roughly 20 concurrent users I observed no change. They also conducted multiple Counter-Strike servers well.
Initial installation took about 18 Hours but I ordered at about 3AM on Christmas eve. I emailed for a refund over the weekend and got it now. I really feel bad for going back and asking for a refund as they helped me quite a bit. Overall I was very delighted with their support and would recommend them to anybody out there searching for a cheap Linux-Based VPS from a trusted business. Ihosting
