There Are lots of hosting providers out there to choose from, but it is tough to find one with a longer history than that of Rose Hosting. RoseHosting is a US-based hosting firm located in St. Louis Missouri. Launched in 2001, it was the very first hosting company to provide Linux servers. The business claims that RoseHosting.com has been the very first and only web hosting company in the world to offer commercial Linux virtual servers back in 2001 (beneath Rose Web Services LLC) and encourages its customers to check the truth on Archive.org. RoseHosting also conducts its own data center. Rose Status
Especially, Rose Hosting is a Linux-only hosting organization Specialized in VPS hosting (though the company also offers both dedicated and shared hosting plans today ). Additionally, this hosting provider has a strict no overselling policy — a practice that we don’t see frequently in funding / shared hosting market. – Quick and Reliable Hosting
As a complete, Rose Hosting is a really good web host claiming impressive uptime and site rates; its overall uptime document is 99.99percent while the highest website response time was 300 ms — nothing to scoff at. Compared to other web hosts I have monitored, the site response time is very notable. The normal response time of the other standard WordPress dormant blogs range from 1,500 to 2,000 ms — compared, Rose Hosting is not shy of five times as quickly!
Additionally, Though I haven’t tested the support system, I’ve heard nothing but great stuff about the customer support and after sales service for a whole. Again, impressive — particularly considering that individuals are, generally, a great deal more inclined to split the bad than the good.
– Small cost difference after initial semester
Unlike a few Other hosting companies, RoseHosting does not jack up their hosting prices after first term. Take SSD Business for example: rate = $9.95/mo, renewal rate = $10.75/mo on yearly billing. The difference is minimal and reasonable.
– Complimentary website migrations for First-time customers
Why stress it When you can allow the pros do all the heavy lifting work? All new customers get free website migration service when they switch to Rose Hosting.
– RV Site Builder Pro
All RoseHosting Shared hosting plans have been bundled with RV Website Builder Professional. This is a huge time saver for layman and non-technical person. You can just build a simple site without the need of web development experience or programming skills. Rose Status
– Anticipate better shared hosting characteristics
At the purchase price of $10.35/mo (Faculties average price ), I’d expect to get more out of my web host.
RoseHosting SSD Business plan allows just five domain names and 20 databases. Dedicated Server IP addresses, Cloud Flare CDN (a $10 is charged for installation fees), daily copy features, etc are only available for customers that are prepared to pay additional.
– Server place in United States just
RoseHosting runs Its own data center in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and does not offer you other options in term of server location. There could be latency issue if bulk of your site users are based outside United States.
RoseHosting — User Review
RoseHosting has Been around for at least a couple of years. But to my surprise — there are so few user reviews available online. The web host isn’t even featured on the majority of the popular hosting review sites.
Overview of consumer review: I found RoseHosting Through a blend of Google searches after having a couple of hours of research I thought I would give them a shot although I don’t have any expertise with CentOS or Linux. I used their service for about four months and during that period experienced zero problems. As Linux was brand new to me I submitted half a dozen help desk tickets also spoke with their live chat service several times. Each time I spoke with someone they were both knowledgeable and useful, help desk tickets were generally answered within two weeks.
As Far as the system goes, I setup and also had three 32-man Team Fortress two servers operating on the server combined with three websites. I had some Steam friends hop on the servers many occasions and each of them ran fine like boatloads of all addons, sub 100ms ping times. Here’s the GameTracker link to a few of those servers as additional proof. I am not sure how’d they do under complete strain but with approximately 20 concurrent users that I observed no change. They also ran multiple Counter-Strike servers well.
First setup took about 18 Hours but I also ordered at about 3AM on Christmas eve. I emailed for a refund within the weekend and got it now. I really feel bad for going back and asking for a refund as they helped me quite a little. Overall I was extremely happy with their support and would recommend them to anybody out there searching for an inexpensive Linux-Based VPS from a reliable business. Rose Status
