Introduction Web Hosting Reviews 2018
There Are loads of hosting providers out there to select from, but it’s difficult to find one with a longer history than that of Rose Hosting. RoseHosting is an US-based hosting company located in St. Louis Missouri. Launched in 2001, it was the very first hosting company to offer Linux virtual servers. The business asserts that RoseHosting.com has been the very first and only web hosting company in the world to provide commercial Linux virtual servers back in 2001 (under Rose Web Services LLC) and supports its clients to check the fact on Archive.org. RoseHosting also runs its own data centre. Web Hosting Reviews 2018
Especially, Rose Hosting is a Linux-only hosting organization Specialized in VPS hosting (though the provider also has both shared and dedicated hosting plans now). In addition, this hosting provider has a strict no overselling coverage — a practice which we do not see often in budget / shared hosting market. Some of its notable clients include the Altarum Institute, UPF.org, and Voice IP Solutions.

– Fast and Reliable Hosting
As a complete, Rose Hosting is a really good web host claiming impressive uptime and site rates; its general uptime record is 99.99percent while the maximum site response time was 300 ms — nothing to scoff at. In comparison to other internet hosts I have tracked, the site response time is very notable. The average response time of my other standard WordPress inactive websites range from 1,500 to 2,000 ms — in contrast, Rose Hosting is not shy of 5 times as quickly!
Additionally, Though I have not analyzed the service system, I’ve heard nothing but good things about the customer care and after sales service for a whole. Again, impressive — especially considering that individuals are, in general, considerably more likely to split the bad than the good.
– Small cost difference after initial term
Unlike some Other hosting companies, RoseHosting does not jack up their hosting costs after first term. Require SSD Business for example: signup rate = $9.95/mo, renewal speed = $10.75/mo on annual billing. The difference is minimal and reasonable.
– Complimentary site migrations for First-time customers
Why stress it When you can let the pros do all of the heavy lifting job? All new customers receive totally free website migration service whenever they change to Rose Hosting.
– RV Website Builder Pro
All RoseHosting Shared hosting programs are bundled with RV Website Builder Guru. This is a huge time saver for layman and non judgmental person. You can just build a very simple site without needing web development expertise or programming skills. Web Hosting Reviews 2018
– Expect better shared hosting attributes
At the cost of $10.35/mo (four-year average cost), I would expect to get more from my hosting company.
RoseHosting SSD Business plan allows just five domain names and 20 databases. Dedicated Server IP addresses, Cloud Flare CDN (a $10 is charged for installation fees), daily copy attributes, etc are only available for customers who are eager to pay extra.
– Server location in United States only
RoseHosting runs Its own data center in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and doesn’t offer alternatives in term of host location. There might be latency problem if majority of your website users are based outside United States.
RoseHosting — User Overview
RoseHosting has Been around for over a decade. However, to my surprise — there are so few user reviews available online. The web host is not even featured on the majority of the popular hosting review websites.
Overview of user review: I found RoseHosting Via a combo of Google searches after doing a couple of hours of research I thought I’d offer them a shot even though I don’t have any expertise with CentOS or Linux. I used their service for about four weeks and during this time experienced zero problems. As Linux was new to me I also submitted half a dozen help desk tickets and spoke to their live chat support many times. Every time that I talked with somebody they were both knowledgeable and helpful, help desk tickets were generally answered within fourteen days.
As Far as the system goes, I set up and also had three 32-man Team Fortress two servers operating on the server combined with three websites. I had some Steam buddies hop on the servers a few occasions and each of them ran fine for example boatloads of all addons, sub 100ms ping times. Here’s the GameTracker link to a few of those servers as additional evidence. I’m not sure how would they perform under full strain but with approximately 20 concurrent users I observed no change. They also ran multiple Counter-Strike servers well.
First installation took about 18 Hours but I also ordered at about 3AM on Christmas eve. I emailed for a refund within the weekend and received it now. I actually feel bad for going back and asking for a refund since they helped me quite a little. Overall I was really pleased with their service and would recommend them to anyone out there looking for an affordable Linux-Based VPS from a trusted company. Web Hosting Reviews 2018
Services and Specializations
The Backbone of RoseHosting is the Linux VPS bundles, which can be completely managed and offer at least 2 CPU cores, SSD storage, 1 IP address, free migration, and full weekly backups. They offer 8 pre-designed packages, out of their newcomer VPS with just the fundamental RAMstorage, and bandwidth to their high-end plans with unmetered bandwidth and enough RAM and SSD storage to run pretty much any web project. For a more personalized plan, you could also make your own customized server that has any specs that you require.
They Also provide 5 shared hosting plans. All shared plans include your selection of cPanel or DirectAdmin control panels, SSD, free weekly backups, Softaculous 1-click installations, and RVSiteBuilder Professional. Plans vary dependent on the number of domains you can capture, storage space, bandwidth, email accounts, subdomains, and databases you can install. Their higher-lever plans also have a dedicated IP address and anti FTP support.
They Offer 8 Linux dedicated server packs, all which include XEON chips, 1 IP address, along with DirectAdmin CP. Plans differ according to processor type, RAM, bandwidth, and storage space. Most programs include RAID5 storage; higher end plans include SSD drives. Custom-built servers are also available upon request.
RoseHosting’s Datacenter is situated less than 100 miles in the US population centre, in St. Louis, Missouri. It features redundant cooling system and fire extinguishing systems, connectivity to all the planet’s major backbones, and multiple 10 GigE, Gigabit, along with OC-3 connections using a brand new Gigabit inner network.
Support and Customer Service
RoseHosting Service is available 24 hours each day, 7 days a week. Many emails and support tickets are responded to over 5 minutes.
RoseHosting Has a no-overselling coverage, which means they will never attempt to sell you additional bandwidth, storage, or other tools you don’t actually need for your site.
Weekly Backups are supplied for all shared and VPS programs. Each backup overwrites the past, therefore it’s a great idea to prepare your own automated backups also, in case a problem goes undetected for at least a week. Dedicated servers don’t include automatic backups.
RoseHosting Provides a 100% uptime guarantee.
Billing and Payment Policies
RoseHosting Accepts all significant credit cards. All programs renew automatically on the first day of a billing cycle, possibly for one month or one year. Accounts more than 7 days delinquent will likely be suspended, and balances over 30 days delinquent will be permanently terminated. Suspended accounts may be charged a reconnect fee upon reinstatement. Cancelations must be made through the control panel ahead of the start the next billing cycle.
As The world’s first Linux hosting provider, they have proven their ability to innovate and supply a reliable service. They provide more than sufficient pre-built packages to meet most client’s needs. If that’s not enough, they also provide custom packages for their VPS and dedicated programs, which means you can absolutely get the specs you’re searching for. Web Hosting Reviews 2018
