Intro Web Hosting
There Are loads of hosting providers out there to select from, but it’s tough to find one with a longer history than that of Rose Hosting. RoseHosting is a US-based hosting firm located in St. Louis Missouri. Founded in 2001, it was the first hosting company to provide Linux virtual servers. The company asserts that RoseHosting.com was the first and only web hosting company in the world to provide commercial Linux virtual servers back in 2001 (under Rose Web Services LLC) and encourages its customers to verify the fact on Archive.org. RoseHosting also conducts its own data centre. Web Hosting
Notably, Rose Hosting is a Linux-only hosting company Specialized in VPS hosting (though the company also has both shared and dedicated hosting plans now). Furthermore, this hosting provider has a strict no overselling coverage — a practice which people don’t see regularly in budget / shared hosting marketplace. Some of its notable clients include the Altarum Institute, UPF.org, and Voice IP Solutions.

– Fast and Reliable Hosting
As a whole, Rose Hosting is a very excellent web host claiming impressive uptime and site speeds; its general uptime record is 99.99percent while the maximum site response time has been 300 ms — nothing to scoff at. In comparison to other web hosts I have tracked, the website response time is quite notable. The typical response time of my other basic WordPress inactive websites range from 1,500 to 2,000 ms — compared, Rose Hosting is not shy of five times as quickly!
Additionally, Though I haven’t tested the service system, I’ve heard nothing but great things about the customer support and after sales service as a whole. Again, impressive — particularly considering that folks are, generally speaking, a whole lot more likely to share the bad than the good.
– Slight cost difference after first term
Unlike a few Other hosting companies, RoseHosting does not jack up their hosting prices after first term. Require SSD Business for example: rate = $9.95/mo, renewal speed = $10.75/mo on annual billing. The distinction is minimum and fair.
– Free site migrations for first time customers
Why stress it When you can let the experts do all of the heavy lifting job? All new users receive free website migration service when they change to Rose Hosting.
– RV Site Builder Pro
All RoseHosting Shared hosting plans have been bundled with RV Site Builder Guru. This is a massive time saver for layman and non judgmental person. It’s possible to just build a simple site without the need of web development experience or programming skills. Web Hosting
– Expect better shared hosting attributes
At the purchase price of $10.35/mo (Faculties average price ), I’d expect to get more from my hosting company.
RoseHosting SSD Business program allows just five domain names and 20 databases. Dedicated IP addresses, Cloud Flare CDN (a $10 is charged for installation fees), daily backup attributes, etc are only available for users that are prepared to pay extra.
– Server place in United States just
RoseHosting runs Its own data center in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and doesn’t offer other options in term of server location. There may be latency problem if majority of your site users are located outside usa.
RoseHosting — User Overview
RoseHosting has Been around for over a decade. But to my surprise — there are so few user reviews available online. The internet host isn’t even featured on most of the popular hosting review sites.
Summary of consumer inspection: I found RoseHosting Through a mix of Google searches after having a couple of hours of study I thought I would offer them a shot even though I don’t have any expertise with CentOS or Linux. I used their service for around four weeks and during that time experienced no issues. As Linux was brand new to me I also submitted half a dozen help desk tickets also spoke with their live chat service many times. Every time I talked with someone they were equally knowledgeable and helpful, help desk tickets were usually answered within 2 hours.
As Far as the machine goes, I set up and had three 32-man Team Fortress two servers running on the server along with three websites. I had some Steam buddies hop on the servers a few times and they all ran fine for example boatloads of all addons, sub 100ms ping occasions. Here is the GameTracker link to one of those servers as further proof. I’m not certain how would they do under full strain but with approximately 20 concurrent users I saw no change. They also ran multiple Counter-Strike servers nicely.
Initial installation took about 18 Hours however I ordered at approximately 3AM on Christmas eve. I emailed for a refund over the weekend and got it today. I really feel bad for going back and asking for a refund since they helped me quite a little. Overall I was very delighted with their service and would recommend them to anyone out there searching for a cheap Linux-Based VPS from a reliable firm. Web Hosting
